The 163rd edition of the Nation Song Contest was hosted for the first time by New Bander State after their win at NSC 162.
Vedatistan, Zaprya and Zombira returned from lengthy absences, while Sakuralia returned after a 1-edition break due to a submission error by the country's broadcaster SHK.
The contest was won by Uferbruht with the song "When I Saved You From the Sea" by Bears of Legend, scoring its second win. Rounding out the top 6 were Perryfornia, Confederate States of Etorkia, Kadis, Denmark of Peace and Calypso.
