The 174th edition of the Nation Song Contest took place for the first time in Serenes following their victory in Kimmystan the previous edition.
Sakuralia, Denmark of Peace, Meilutya and Sjómaður all returned, while Godric's Hollow, Noizeland, Orangualia and Vedatistan withdrew. It is the final contest for Zaprya as the nation's juror decided to withdraw from the main roster.
Due to lack of communication between the host and delegations, this edition drew out longer than expected. The delegation from Aimūlli stepped in to take over.
Jemmuise got its first victory with the song Czarna Polana by Kayah & Atanas Valkov. The top 6 was completed by Kadis, Kalos Metropolis, Aimūlli, Solentoya and Roseland.
