The 176th edition of the Nation Song Contest was held in Fervorosia after winner Jemmuise, second-place New Bander State and third-place Baia Papaya all declined to host.
Aclaira, Cherniya, Godric's Hollow, Ic-Sa-Calli, Lacrea, Serenes Sjómaður, Uferbruht and Vedatistan all withdrew, Denmark of Peace now competes as of this edition as the nation of Tuzi, Blackmere returned, and Tanoiro made its debut, replacing Meilutya.
Due to technical issues at the ESCUnited forums, the edition lasted a little longer than usual.
Kordavian Islands got their first victory with "Idzie zima" by Kwiat Jabłoni ft. Bum Bum Orkestar. Rounding out the top 6 were Calypso, Sundfør, Vylkuzeme, QuiénDQ and Tanoiro.
