Nation Song Contest 99 was the 99th edition of the Nation Song Contest and hosted by Horehronieland after their first win in the previous edition. The winner of this edition, Illumia, has got the hosting rights to the landmark 100th edition of the Nation Song Contest. This edition was also marked by Cherniya's first ever prequalification result.
